Intellectual property
Our office has assisted clients in enforcing their Intellectual Property rights and taking anti-counterfeiting actions including instituting both civil and criminal proceedings. Our intellectual Property Section provides services covering trademarks, patents, utility models and industrial designs. The services offered include:
- conducting intellectual property due diligence in connection with various types of business transactions;
- reviewing and providing legal advice on agreements related to IP
- undertaking trademark availability searches;
- first and second publications
- assisting clients with the registration, renewal, extension, merger and, splitting of IP rights
- providing advice and assistance in relation to the assignment and licensing of IPR
- advising and assisting clients on IPR enforcement actions including opposition, invalidation and enforcement of IPR and anti-counterfeiting actions; instituting or initiating civil or criminal proceedings, where necessary; and
- representing clients in Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms.
